Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to generate new business, meeting revenue quotas and targets. This involves both cultivating relationships with existing clients and identifying and pursuing opportunities with new clients
- Understand the Insurance market (i.e., P&C, Life/Annuity and Reinsurance), including trends, key players, and competitive landscape. Utilize this knowledge to formulate strategic plans for penetrating new markets and maximizing opportunities for EPAM's services
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in technology solutions to address their unique challenges and objectives. Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for innovation and growth through EPAM's services
- Monitor current and emerging trends in the Insurance industry, analyzing how these trends impact clients' business strategies and initiatives. Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansions
- Develop and implement account plans and pursuit strategies to effectively target and win new business. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to orchestrate efforts and deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements
- Ensure effective management of sales activities and opportunities within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the Insurance industry. Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners, to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in a Sales/Business Development role
- Proven history with new business development, growing client relationships within the Insurance Industry (P&C, Life/Annuity, Reinsurance)
- Knowledge of technical platforms i.e., Guidewire, DuckCreek Technologies, Insurity
- Experience with evangelizing transformational ideas and building a vision for large enterprise clients, leading to real long-term value via the use of advanced software engineering and technology consulting services
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business using consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approach
- Proven track record of collaborating with technology vendors to close business
- Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to the team
- Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication skills, with seasoned presentation skills
