Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Java applications
- Define technical strategies and architecture for the EHR agnostic solution
- Oversee and mentor a team of developers, fostering skill development and collaboration
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are adhered to
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct performance optimizations and resolve complex technical challenges
- Drive innovation by evaluating and incorporating new technologies and tools
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Java development with a minimum of 5 years in the field
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams
- Advanced proficiency with JUnit for testing and quality assurance
- Strong expertise in scalable architecture design and implementation
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile development methodologies
- B2+ English proficiency for effective communication with global stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Expertise in JAX for creating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud services and deployment processes
- Experience in healthcare or EMR system architecture and design
- Knowledge of patient administration systems across various healthcare environments
