The chosen candidate will be pivotal in propelling the AI Modernization initiative forward, which is crucial for employing GenAI in portfolio analysis, application modernization, code conversion, reduction of technical debt, and technological upgrades.

Responsibilities
- Design and architect solutions spanning various architectural models including legacy monolith applications, cloud-based solutions, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Develop data concepts and implement UI frameworks
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless integration of various teams and stakeholders
- Apply Generative AI tools, approaches, and frameworks to advance the application modernization agenda
- Keep updated with AI software engineering trends and market developments
- Communicate effectively within a global team, upholding a high level of English fluency
- Adopt an entrepreneurial and integrative mindset for rapid adaptation to new challenges and changes
- Engage thoroughly with EPAM’s tools and frameworks to optimize understanding and usage of resources
- Tackle complex issues strategically and creatively
Requirements
- Experience of at least 5 years in solution/software architecture with legacy monolith applications, cloud-based solutions, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Background in data concepts and proficiency in UI frameworks
- Ability to handle multiple projects and integrate various teams and stakeholders
- Expertise in Generative AI tools, approaches, and frameworks with emphasis on application modernization
- Interest in modern AI trends and solutions
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
- Entrepreneurial and integrative mindset, flexible to adapt to changing environments and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Capability to solve complex problems using strategic and creative thinking
- Commitment to deeply engage with EPAM’s range of tools and frameworks
