Senior Account Executive Manager (m/f/d) Description

As an Account Executive Manager (m/f/d), you will act as a trusted advisor for new business while supporting our strategically important existing customers.

Your daily tasks include lead generation, processing existing leads, outbound calls and developing further sales and marketing strategies. You will work closely with decision makers in the EMEA region and manage the complete after-sales process and customer lifecycle including renewals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key decision-makers and lead product marketing initiatives, guiding prospects through demos to closing deals
  • Develop strategic account plans to align with client objectives and ensure long-term business growth
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships by providing tailored solutions and ensuring high satisfaction levels
  • Manage all aspects of contract negotiations, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities to drive additional value
  • Conduct impactful client presentations and lead workshops with senior decision-makers to advocate for Test IO’s offerings
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate customer data, manage customer portfolios and deliver reliable business forecasts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales performance, ensuring operational alignment and achievement of sales metrics
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, measure team performance and inform strategic decision-making
  • Represent Test IO at industry events and conferences to establish thought leadership and identify potential opportunities

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in account management (hunting and/or farming), direct sales, client support or other service-oriented environment, ideally in a SaaS company
  • Consistent track record with above-average target achievement
  • Confident appearance paired with excellent presentation skills
  • Highly self-driven with a hands-on mentality
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (Word, MS Excel)
  • Very good knowledge of English and German (business fluent), other languages an advantage
  • A sense of humor and interest in technological trends
  • Expertise in the testing and quality assurance world is an advantage
