Design Team Lead – iGaming Description
Are you a designer with experience in the gaming industry? Are you strong in motivating teams and bringing people together?
We’re looking for a Design Team Lead to join a hybrid team of designers, strategists, consultants and engineers. We’re working with a client in the entertainment/gaming industry, this project requires a Designer with solid experience across UX/UI to lead a team and oversee the design process. There will be occasional travel to client site required.

Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare concepts for the gaming industry (e.g. online casino) design that holds the user's attention
- Create new design concepts and ideas
- Provide constructive feedback and project-level guidance to designers in the team
- Act as a role model, inspire and motivate a diverse team of designers at varying levels of professional and design maturity
- Review design concepts and mock-ups provided by designers to determine if they meet the requirements for the project
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and adjusting schedules as needed
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for feedback
- Work with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and functional
Requirements
- Experience leading a design team and collaborating with artists and designers with at least 6 years of design experience across UX/UI/Visual design
- Minimum 4+ years of industry proficiency in the game development industry (mobile games, online games, casinos, etc.) with a portfolio containing examples of work from the gaming industry
- Understanding of industry standard practices, tools, pipelines, workflows, technical budgeting and challenges of real-time development
- Organized, process driven and able to make decisions based on data and numbers
- Ability to communicate with team members about their personal needs and resolve team challenges
- Background in working with outsourcing studios
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Experience with agile methodologies
