Responsibilities

• Transform product requirements and UI specifications into fully functional user interfaces
• Build reusable UI components and optimize them for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices
• Implement high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive flows based on design principles and user experience standards
• Collaborate seamlessly with back-end developers and architects to craft scalable, standardized, and adaptable UI architecture
• Investigate and resolve potential security vulnerabilities within the user interface
• Create and manage UI unit tests to maintain code quality and reliability
• Address and rectify bugs to enhance overall application performance
• Mentor team members on best practices for UI design and testing
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold development standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of UI development experience with a strong emphasis on Angular
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Ionic 2, ES6
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
• Skills in dealing with cross-browser compatibility issues using WebKit-based code
• Familiarity with AJAX, RESTful services, and API design
• Understanding of at least one JavaScript unit testing framework
• Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for addressing complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Capability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodology and tools like JIRA
• Background in UX design principles and responsive design implementations
