  • Implement FinOps Best Practices for Cloud Resource Management
  • Establish a comprehensive FinOps strategy that includes policies for efficient resource usage, cost monitoring, and optimization techniques
  • Automate Cost Optimization for Decommissioned Resources
  • Create detailed analyses and projections that demonstrate the cost benefits and efficiency gains from adopting cloud-native services
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate developers, operations teams, and decision-makers about FinOps principles
  • Build Cloud Cost governance framework and guardrails
  • A policy framework where governance includes FinOps principles, ensuring cost optimization and financial accountability in cloud resource usage


  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting Amazon Cloud Services environments with FinOps expertise
  • Must have AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate) certification
  • Working knowledge and experience in Agile / Scrum and CI/CD
  • Conduct code reviews and follow best practices & design principles: SOLID, unit testing, CI, etc
  • Experience contributing to the estimation and planning sessions including architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
  • Demonstrates effective analysis and problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
  • Must be a self-starter and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Must be comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Must have skills:
    • Amazon Cloud Services
    • FinOps
    • DevOps / DevSecOps

  • This posting includes a good base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $125k - $160k.
