We are looking for a motivated Digital Platform Solution Architect to make the team stronger in Asia-Pacific, with focusing on project/solution delivery, architecture planning, etc. The ideal candidate should have experience in technical leadership, and excellent communication skills. While Hong Kong or Singapore are preferred locations, we are open to candidates from anywhere in the region.
What You’ll Do
Project / Solution Delivery: Leads solution architecture and works with software development & delivery teams to produce high-quality customer-facing technology solutions for our clients
Solution Design: Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and design scalable, high-performance digital solutions that align with business objectives and best practices
Architecture Planning: Create architectural blueprints, define system components, and outline integration points to ensure the successful delivery of platform-based projects. Provides guidance for the most complex or mission critical aspects of the architecture
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, coding standards, and industry best practices
Platform Customization: Customize Sitecore or related platforms using various modules, components, and integrations to meet specific project requirements
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct code reviews, and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and scalability of platform solutions. Identifies gaps in delivery capabilities and proposes solutions to overcome them. Proactively analyzes and measures current processes and practices and suggest/drive improvements to time-to-market/quality/cost. Provides timely input of risks and issues impacting quality, schedule or resources, and recommend effective mitigation plans when applicable
Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and guidelines. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and provide training to development teams and stakeholders as needed
Pre-Sales: Works on technical pre-sales activity with sales, account management, EPAM digital teams & digital platform partners for opportunities related to digital experience platforms (e.g. CMS, eCommerce & digital marketing)
Assists in solution demonstrations, proposal development, and providing technical expertise to support business development efforts
Stays up-to-date with relevant certifications; finds & evaluates emerging technologies that fit into future solutions
Hands-on and up-to-date experience with microservices technology domain
Initiates and arranges business domain specific knowledge sharing/trainings for teams, acts as trainer
Develops work instructions, white-papers and case studies, as needed
What You Have
Work Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Sitecore or related digital platform development and architecture
Architecture Skills: Proven experience in architecting and designing scalable, high-performance enterprise-level solutions on digital / customer-facing platforms. Knowledge of MACH or composable architectures; Good knowledge of Cloud architecture theory of all related technology domain
Platform Experience: Sitecore preferred, but any related CMS / eCommerce / Digital Marketing platform or product experience will suffice: Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Commerce/Magento, Target, Campaign, Analytics), Salesforce (CommerceCloud, MarketingCloud), Acquia/Drupal, CommerceTools, etc
Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and experience in deploying digital experience platform solutions in a cloud or SaaS environment
Integration Experience: Experience integrating digital platforms with other systems and platforms, such as CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, guide development teams, and influence decision-making processes; Can lead meetings of engineers, meeting with customer representatives, and the direction of an architecture
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution in a timely manner
Experience working closely with experience design teams in the course of projects, preferred
Can process, absorb, retain and reuse knowledge for several of the most popular business domains
