What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain the program-wide overall solution architecture (always with reference to architecture artifacts previously created in the project)
- Describe the target development including sustainable transitional architectures (coexistence existing/new)
- Elaborate and specify guidelines and principles for a consistent and high-quality implementation of the targeted solution architecture
- Select the architecture methods, tools and technologies to be used program-wide as well as conception of the integration of the technologies into the development process
- Select technology and operational components and support of the set-up of the environments based on the resulting technology stack
- Prepare architectural and developmental decisions at the respective levels of the program
- Contribute methodical know-how on architecture and development level for a sustainable, modern target system
- Ensure resilience of the solution
- Prepare and supervise the execution of technical PoCs (in close cooperation with delivery management and development)
- Create Concepts for compliance of data protection and legal framework
- Design and implement IT security policies and processes
- Document and support the ISlP process
- Review the BSI guidelines and derivation of processes to comply with them
Requirements
- Full proficiency in German and English (C1 or higher)
- 5+ years of experience as an enterprise architect (preferably in the public environment)
- Knowledge of running highly complex and mission-critical IT projects
- Formal qualification as Open Group Certified Architect Level 3 or equivalent (CITA-A, CITA-P or CPSA-Expert)
- Understanding of modern approaches/notations such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, UML, BPMN
- Understanding of modern architectures and technologies: experience in building IT solution architectures as well as understanding and subject matter expertise in microservice architectures, container technology, DevOps approaches and security architectures
- Technologies and frameworks that are in the field of application: Java, Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Architecture Patterns, SOA and WebServices
- Experience and/or knowledge of cross-cutting projects at European and national level (Gaia-X, provider advisory board, etc.)
- Experience in more complex agile projects, preferably with the SAFe
- You’ll be expected to work on client site 30% of the time
