Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a comprehensive research program, planning the research roadmap and applying appropriate research methods
- Conduct in-depth research to identify user needs and product-market fit, informing our strategic direction and capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine research requests and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Develop and execute research plans tailored to address specific research questions
- Recruit participants who represent our target audience for various research studies
- Conduct both moderated and unmoderated research, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data collected
- Analyze research results, extracting key insights and trends
- Present findings and actionable insights to cross-functional teams, influencing product design and strategy
- Archive research results for future reference and continuous learning
Requirements
- Proficiency in both evaluative and strategic research methods
- Confidence in conducting usability studies, iterative design research, and in-depth interviews
- Familiarity with a range of research techniques including low-to-medium complexity surveys, focus groups, diary studies, participatory design, contextual inquiry, concept study, Kano, card sorting (open & closed), and tree-testing
- Experience with remote testing methods
- Strong collaboration skills and a proven track record of working effectively with product teams and UX designers
- Near-native English proficiency, with the ability to conduct sessions and write comprehensive reports in English
