DESCRIPTION



We seek a Business Development Director to be based in Germany, helping drive continued growth across our Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) practice. You will be responsible for developing and managing business development and sales activities, working closely with EPAM’s clients across the region.
You will understand the nuances associated with the latest platforms, architectures, and digital technologies along with how they align with EPAMs capabilities to deliver strategic solutions to our clients. You will focus on driving cross platform sales from prospecting through bid closing; developing new relationships and driving continued growth of EPAM’s solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully sell Digital Transformation and technology delivery solutions and Services via a solution-selling or consultative-selling approach that delivers the Sales Revenue Targets
  • Develop a BD plan and strategy and lead cross-functional execution against defined business milestones and metrics
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of new business opportunities across clients in your portfolio
  • Record all client facing activities in CRM, clearly and punctually
  • Develop deep knowledge and expertise around EPAM’s solutions and go to market strategies
  • Oversee preparation of business' value propositions, sales plans, RFPs/RFQs/ RFIs
  • Collaborate with key EPAM partners to effectively position EPAM services and drive an increased number of opportunities from the channel
  • You must be team player, self-motivated, well-organized, strong communicator, driven and committed
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strict timescales
  • Excellent communicator and able to maintain good working relationship with various shareholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling bespoke Digital technology solutions and a track record of selling end to end services
  • German language skills and knowledge of local FSI market is required for this role
  • Demonstrable track record of identifying and closing new business
  • Experience working with 3rd party partners to build shared propositions and leveraging co-selling opportunities to enhance pipeline development
  • A leader with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals
  • Prior experience with and comfort operating in a very entrepreneurial environment
  • Prior experience with and in-depth knowledge of delivering bespoke engineering solutions
  • Good awareness of global digital trends and technologies
  • Amazing client management, business communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, and an ability to synthesize large amounts of technical information and to quickly become externally credible in a new, complex subject area
  • Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense
  • Effectively manages up and down
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
