We are inviting a Software Engineering Manager to navigate, drive and expand a team of 20+ Java Engineers. We are growing fast in our newly opened office in Latvia and looking for someone who will help us reaching new astonishing milestones.
If you have a solid background in resource management, acting as a Tech Lead and/or Delivery Manager but “keeping your finger on the pulse” of the latest technologies – this is an opportunity for you to stay in the edge of innovations while developing a core team.

What You’ll Do
- Develop Java discipline’s strategy in Latvia aligned with other locations
- Work closely with technology / marketing / talent acquisition and delivery teams
- Hire new talents relentlessly and help with their professional growth
- Confirm successful onboarding and adaptation of newcomers
- Ensure a sufficient level of employees’ professional motivation
- Exchange information between people, units and the entire company
- Manage bench / project staffing upon request of the project heads
- Build an organizational and managerial structure within the resource group
- Gather, maintain, and expand technological and managerial expertise of the team
- Identify and grow talents to support succession planning
- Work cross-functionally with Project / Delivery Managers
What You Have
- 8+ years of experience in Java software engineering
- 4+ years of leading a medium-size group of engineers (up to 20 ppl)
- 2+ years of experience as a resource manager for 20+ people
- Good spoken English and Latvian languages
- Strong understanding of project deliverables
- Deep knowledge of Scrum methodology and SDLC
