Payroll Accountant Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant, who will help EPAM Georgia succeed in its growth. You will take care of payroll and other accounting operations for 5,000+ employees and encourage colleagues in the case of payment questions.

What You’ll Do
- Provide payroll and other compensation calculations including sick leaves, vacation, dismissals, bonuses, gifts, and taxes
- Prepare separate payroll reconciliation report according to the existing rules in the company (SOX control)
- Register transactions in the accounting software
- Collect accounting documentation in compliance with internal requirements and legislation
- Manage bank payment documents (including Internet banking system)
- Prepare tax declarations, statistical and other reports
- Release supporting documents for internal and external auditors
- Improve internal company policies and automate the existing processes.
What You Have
- Finance or Accounting background
- 3+ years of experience in the accounting system for legal entity 250+ employees
- Proficiency in 1C, Excel, client bank system
- Knowledge of English, Russian, and Georgian languages
- Familiarity with Labor and Tax code requirements
- Experience in automation with examples
