Responsibilities
- Compose a POC or / and MVP to validate ideas, including design of build and deployment (CI/CD) management end-to-end automation
- Serve as an expert consultant leading Cloud Native initiative and producing relevant deliverables
- Serve as a Cloud Native evangelist, consult and provide technical guidance on Cloud Native solutions design, build, governance
- Design Cloud Native solutions, create solution architecture document covering technical aspects of the implementation
- Conduct technical reviews of products or solutions to compare and evaluate their applicability
- Articulate ideas to a wide audience through any well-known architectural frameworks, gets buy in from stakeholders both business and delivery sides
- Engage and build teams to implement and deliver solutions through Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
- Defining, establishing, and leading modern software development and technology transformation projects
- Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients
- Has experience with business strategy implementation thorough program and solution delivery
- Deep expertise in solution architecture including web services, relational and non-relational databases, front-end and/or back-end technologies
- Participating in development of new solutions, service offerings, and innovations from ideation to build to go-to-market
- Large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP or Ruby
- Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI) and automated deployment
- Able to explain team building dynamics and maturity phases/stages it goes through
- Proven leadership skills through: promoting productivity and quality standards, motivating and inspiring teams to follow you and your ideas, maintaining morale and loyalty
- Experience with Cloud computing (one or a few major vendors: AWS, GCP or Azure) and open source solutions
- Cloud certifications are an additional advantage
