Currently, we have an excellent position for a Solution Architect who wants to work in a fully EPAM-managed environment (150+ people) in a model "you build it, you own it." The SA will work with different business stakeholders, technologies, development teams, architecture activities.
Our customer is a provider of global corporate travel management. It combines service leadership with flexible technology, intelligent data analysis, and strategic solutions to provide travel management advantages to customers of all sizes all around the globe.
At the current moment, there are 10+ active project teams responsible for end-to-end delivery of products and platforms and 5+ initiative in the discovery or PoC stage. EPAM is involved in most areas that support client's business: Travel Experience and Commerce, Travel Orders and Processing, Travel Data and Insights, Travel Partnership and Integration, Travel Payments and Expenses, Customer Lifecycle Systems, Agent Experience, and Engagement.

What You’ll Do
- Participate in different solution architecture activities like proposals, discoveries, estimations, designs, reviews, cloud migrations, help development teams, implementation of PoCs, etc
- Be involved in several projects/activities at the same time
- Efficiently collaborate with the Principal SA and the other participants of the account Core team (AM, Principal DM, PM, BA, etc.)
- Support offshore development teams from the architecture viewpoint and be their trusted partner
- Understand what the client really needs and provide the most appropriate and realistic high-quality solutions
What You Have
- 2+ years of experience as a Solution Architect
- Deep expertise in at least one cloud – AWS or Azure
- Experience delivering end-to-end systems – from a proposal to 24/7 production support with strict SLAs
- Overall 7+ years of hands-on experience in the IT industry including .NET
- Strong background in using various libraries, framework, and design patterns
- Knowledge of design and implementation of external services integrations (using REST, SOAP, and/or ESB)
- Strong experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes, approaches, and methods (SCRUM & RUP)
- Deep expertise in solution architecture (web application architectures, web services architectures, relational and non-relational data storage specific, web application front-end and/or back-end architecture, solution cross-cutting concerns)
- Strong understanding of mission-critical application architecture design, scalable application architecture design, high-performance application architecture design
- Strong expertise in:
- architectural styles
- enterprise architecture patterns
- integration patterns
- development patterns
- architecture artifacts and deliverables
- solution architecture design approaches and practices
- change management processes
- English level B2+ (strong verbal and written)
- Transparency, communication/negotiation, predictability, business focus
- Experience with infrastructure and security, PII and PCI Compliance solutions, AWS, Azure, MS Power Platform certificates will be a plus
