In 2015 EPAM opened the Czech Republic IT delivery center in Prague, in the iconic City Tower in Pankrac. Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is a growing source of innovation due to the increasing demand for software solutions and services in Central Europe. This new location will enable EPAM to more closely collaborate with clients in the region.

DESCRIPTION
Currently, we are looking for Senior / Lead Business Analyst for our Czech office.
Customer is a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions to banks, broker-dealers, asset and wealth managers and corporate issuers.
Today our customer is offering some form of trading support through existing infrastructure and they would like to enhance the platform by building new core components, and consolidating and integrating all existing trading components/applications into a single, coherent trading platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop requirements for agile projects by a set deadline and participate in scrum sessions
- Collect and analyze requirements, perform readout sessions, design business process/flows based on information gathered from subject matter experts
- Capture requirements in the form of user stories, writing specifications on confluence, creating visual diagrams, use cases, activity diagrams
- Define requirements for both back-end and front-end
- Perform smoke testing of stories that were implemented during the spring
- Provide status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress, risks, and issues
- Perform demo sessions to the client (including business users)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a technical Business Analyst
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience in building trading systems with the focus on front office (trading)
- Good knowledge of FIX protocol and familiarity with FIX vendor software
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence
- Agile experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with business and technology partners
- Self-motivated, hardworking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or scientific field, finance, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a distribute team setup (team is distributed among 4 timezones)
