DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst specializing in Data Modeling in Chengdu to make the team stronger.
Responsibilities
- Capture and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, focus on designing efficient data models for BI solutions with the performance and user-friendly representation as main principles
- Creation of source-target mappings
- Analysis of source data and defining data transformations for getting required business value from data
- Close collaboration and communication with other data streams regarding data and data models
- Data Model design for new Big Data Projects and capture data requirements
- Discuss and negotiate solution approach with multiple IT teams reflecting actual business needs
- Review current solution design and propose improvements and changes
- Help to make day to day design decisions
- Use data mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases
- Plan and schedule own work for tasks and projects, also implement functionality without direct supervision
- Perform profiling and troubleshooting of existing solutions
- Follow and understand defined software development process
- Participate in workshops and presentations of proposed solutions to clients
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to clarify business requirements
- Assist team members by providing technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
- Work experience in an international enterprise size/servicing company
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience (reporting, data analysis, data manipulation techniques)
- Proficient data processing skills in Python
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with clients
- Self-motivated personality and excellent problem-solving skills, can-do attitude
- Excellent time management skills, ability to work effectively within strict deadlines
- Strong understanding of the latest BI trends
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
- Active learner who is passionate about technology and keeps up to date with changes in technology
- Good communication skills
- Native Mandarin speaker, intermediate (CEFR B1) or higher level of spoken and written English

- Experience with Qliksense BI tool and Hadoop Big Data platform
