Senior Java Developer Description
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to become an integral part of our cross-functional scrum team within a designated business capability POD.
The perfect candidate will possess substantial expertise in Java and Spring Framework, taking on a crucial role in the creation of backend solutions that advance business operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the Java codebase
- Design and build back-end microservices and REST APIs
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure software reliability
- Perform regular code reviews to uphold high standards in code quality
- Follow and advocate for best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Take an active part in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance team collaboration
- Contribute actively to estimation and planning sessions to maintain project alignment
- Offer mentorship and guidance to other developers
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field; preference for Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
- Competency in constructing APIs and understanding of microservices architecture
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management, is valued but not compulsory
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
