Senior User Researcher – Neuroscience Specialist Description
Job #: 92064We’re looking for a Senior User Researcher with a specialism in Neuroscience to join the EMEA Research & Insights team.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of user behaviour through the lens of neuroscience. You will lead biometric projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cutting-edge biometric research and spearhead biometric research efforts within the Research & Insights practice.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage biometric research projects, defining research goals, methodologies, and timelines to uncover insights into user behaviour and cognition
- Develop and implement protocols for collecting biometric data, using multiple sensors including GSR, EEG, Eye-tracking, facial expression analysis, and other relevant sensors
- Design experiments that incorporate biometric measurements to assess user engagement, emotional response, cognitive load, and other relevant metrics while using apps, websites, interfaces or physical products
- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from biometric data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for products, services, and user experience improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess user experience and usability through biometric data
- Develop and execute a comprehensive research strategy to advance biometric research capabilities within the organization
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in neuroscience, biometric technology, and user experience trends to inform research strategies
- Create clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Present research results and recommendations to senior management and project teams
What You Have
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field with a strong focus on user research, biometric research, or neuroimaging methods
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and conducting biometric research studies (i.e., eye-tracking, EEG or GSR experiments) on humans
- Proficiency in biometric data analysis tools and software such as iMotions would be beneficial
- Proficient in Python
- Willingness to travel to run biometric projects (it could be 1 or 2 times per quarter)
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- A passion for understanding human behaviour and user experience
