What You’ll Do
- Design and build highly available SQL solutions
- Migrate local database resources to the cloud & ensure its integrity and availability
- Monitor and ensure performance, security and availability of all databases
- Prepare documentation and specifications
- Manage common database procedures: upgrade, backup, recovery migration, etc
- Work closely with engineering teams to monitor, optimize and resolve system performance issues
- Troubleshoot and work out database issues with a high-level expertise
What You Have
- 3+ years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase ASE databases & related enterprise-level systems
- Solid knowledge of AWS / Cloud Technologies in private and public cloud environments
- Skills in SQL scripting, stored procedures, functions, triggers, replication, installation and configuration
- Background in implementing complex SQL transactions to build queries, procedures, SQL agent jobs and database objects
