Middle / Senior Embedded Software Engineer Latvia or Remote

What You’ll Do

• Develop safety-critical software components for automotive using AUTOSAR and in compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standard
• Participate in the complete software development cycle in compliance with Automotive SPICE:
  • Take part in requirements management
  • Participate in the software architecture design
  • Implement components according to the architecture design and requirements in compliance with MISRA standard
  • Manage and perform unit and integration testing
  • Participate in design, requirements, code reviews
• Participate in laboratory testing and issues analyzes

What You Have

• 3+ years of industry experience with embedded C
• Device-level C programming expertise
• Familiarity with boot loaders, initialization code and real-time operating systems
• Ability to read the schematic and debug embedded devices
• Familiarity with communications protocols and diagnostics (CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, etc.)
• Good English level, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Professional experience in the automotive domain, knowledge of major automotive electrical subsystems (Body, Chassis, Powertrain, Infotainment, Safety etc.)
• Understanding of standard software processes and industry requirements (AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO 26262)
• Knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink and measurement instruments for testing and development (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, etc.)
• Motor controls proficiency (DC motors, DC stepper motors)
