Currently we are looking for a Scrum Master to make our team even stronger.
Responsibilities
- Actively set an example of the values and principles of Agile Software Development in the Scrum teams and organization
- With one or multiple scrum teams, support them to work and collaborate in a scaled agile development environment, encouraging self-organization
- Arrange and moderate Scrum Ceremonies to enable decision-making, remove impediments and encourage regular inspection & adaptation
- Enable development teams to independently organize their sprints and to achieve the sprint goals
- Advise product owners on the management and prioritization of the product backlogs
- Create transparency, enable collaboration and maintain information exchange
- Align with other Scrum Masters about cross-team risks, dependencies and issues within the Scrum of Scrums
- Contribute your experiences and ideas within the Scrum team and Scrum Master Community of Practice, to ensure mutual know-how transfer
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of scaled activities, e.g. Program Increment planning
- Understand performance, process, and product quality indicators
- Apply KPIs to Scrum teams to continuously improve productivity and quality
- Act as project manager proxy when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor degree in computer science or related
- Demonstrated tracking record as a Scrum Master
- Pays attention to detail, is organized and is clearly able to lead Scrum team(s) by example
- Experience in moderation and facilitation, as well as effective coaching and leadership in Agile Software development
- Ability to deal with conflict and respond to difficult situations with people
- Excellent communication skills with team colleagues and key stakeholders of different levels
- Experience building a globally-scaled product and working with geographically distributed Scrum teams is welcome
- Strong problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to enforce and get buy in from the team and stakeholders, when it comes to process adoption
- Proven experience with JIRA and Confluence with good knowledge of reporting features
- Adequate technical understanding of software engineering
- Practical working experience in a scrum development team such as testing, coding, business analysis or design is a plus
- Resilient person, who is able to stand their ground
- Team player
- Scrum Master Certification is preferred
- Project management background is desired
