Currently we are looking for a Unix Scripting Developer for our Wroclaw office.


Our client is one of the largest investment banks in the world. There are 32 applications on the platform and 10 of 22 applications need to be remediated in 2021. We are migrating Sybase servers to Rhel7 that requires restaging of databases and requires application and interface changes. We need to move hundreds of Perl and shell scripts from shared storage to local storage. To remove 2008 servers, we need to upgrade Front Arena, Form PF, and IMS Payments. Front Arena, Open Staars, and Geneva.


  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Java and Perl programming skills
  • Strong in programming skills with Perl
  • Exposure to LINUX environment
  • Coding and unit testing of the features assigned
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to learn and work in proprietary tools
  • Good Analytical and Debugging skills
  • You’ll have experience working in Agile methodology
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with complex requirements and specification documents, and devise and develop appropriate software solutions
  • Ability to integrate into an existing development team and work with an existing extensive code base
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; as well as define problems, and develop methods to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Gitlab, git, build chain experience is a plus
