Language Trainer (English) Tokyo, Japan

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for instruction, curriculum design and development of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for non-native English speakers, with a focus on Business and Intercultural Communication
• Provide written and verbal communication of student progress
• Participate in corporate language testing processes and program reviews
• Coordinate the local language training and assessment programs
• Act as a leader for extracurricular student activities
• Interact professionally with all internal customers using strong interpersonal skills
• Work evenings if required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ESL, TESOL, ESOL, English or Applied Linguistics
• Preference will be given to candidates that have three (3) years of experience working with EFL students in a workplace or educational setting
• Experience in conducting online group lessons using communicative methods of teaching
• Experience with multimedia instruction
• Professional manner
